Quotes: Week 5

Hello,

I hope you’re having a good week. If your week’s not turning out so great, I hope you are feeling strong and loved. One of the most reassuring and touching things I’ve ever read on the internet was this quote,

“Everyone is trying so hard to keep it together. That is how fragile and beautiful everyone’s life is.”
– Kate in “How Stage IV Cancer Taught Me to Live” (by Joanna Goddard, Cup of Jo)

Yes, life can be hard and painful. We might struggle and feel lost and confused. But just as the quote says, the world is full of people “trying so hard to keep it together”.

Beautiful things don’t come easy, and no-one is exempt from experiencing a downfall or two. Everyone feels beaten at times but it is those who respond to the situation with a brave heart and ‘unbreakable’ attitude that go on to GROW from the hardships and allow beautiful things to blossom from the pain.

So remember, no-one is immune to hurting, sadness, heartbreak, or loss. When you feel like life is too hard, don’t forget that you’ve got sisters and brothers out there in this world who are also going through the struggles too. We must all build each other up.

We are all in this together.
